The Peace That Comes With Knowing God!

There is a certain peace and calm that comes with knowing God! God is our father whom we can confidently expect the fruits of the spirit. In Galatians 5: 22-23 love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance are all fruits that are manifested in the spirit of God in our lives!

In John 14:27 the word says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

God is with us and He is a present help in the time of storm.

In Isaiah 26:3 the word says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on the: because he trusted in thee.

Our trust should not be in this world, but in God who made heaven and Earth.

In Philippians 4: 6-7 & 9 the word says, 6 Be careful for nothing: but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

We are to intrust our lives to God and make our request known unto Him, the author and finisher of our faith!

In Isaiah 32:17 the word says, And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

We as believers should have an assurance that those things we bring before the father will be answered! We should have peace when we go to the father!

In 1 Corinthians 14:33 the word says, For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Our God is the author of peace in our lives! If you have confusion in your life or home it does not come from the father!

Just know that in Romans 8:28 the word says, And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.

It may not always seem as though things are working in your favor, but when we continue to pray and put our lives in God's hands all things will work out in our favor!

Then in Romans 12:18 the word says we should, If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

We as believers should not have strife, bitterness, nor malice in our hearts, but we are to walk in love and be at peace with others. So, go in love and peace and know if you keep your mind stayed on Him He will keep you in perfect peace!
