Asking God in Prayer!
We all need and desire things, but we often try to provide them for ourselves. We have jobs, family members, and possibly money in the bank. We try to figure out how we are going to produce that thing in which we have need of. I have an answer and that is prayer!
In Philippians 4:6 -7 (NIV) the word says, Do not be anxious for anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding , will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We are not to be anxious and worry about anything, but we are to take all things to God!
1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) says, This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that is we ask anything according to his will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us -whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of Him.
We should have strong confidence in God that He hears our prayers, and patience to wait on Him to answer them.
James 5:17-18 (NIV) says, Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
Elijah was human like us, and if he was able to pray and things happened we should be able to also. God hears our prayer just as He heard Elijah's.
Psalm 27:14 (NIV) says, Wait for the Lord; Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
If it takes time we should be patient, because God works in perfect timing!
Matthew 7:7-8 (AMP) says, Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.
Sometimes it takes us praying again and to keep on asking, but God will answer! Don't lose faith!
1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) says, Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Cast all your worry and anxiety on God!
Jeremiah 29: 11-12 (NIV) says, For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
God's plans for us are to prosper us and give us hope. We are the sheep he plans to direct our steps, we shall not want, we shall have green pastures, still waters, and tables prepared before us. (Psalms 23)
Mark 10:27 (KJV) says, And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
For with God all things are possible to them that believe, for we are given a measure of faith.
Philippians 4:19-20 (AMP) says, And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Pray to the Father (God) and He will hear and answer your prayers!
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) says, so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Speak your prayers out of your mouth and believe they will be heard of God and not return unto you void!
