Refraining from Sin!
To refrain from an action is to stop oneself from doing something. One should refrain from sin! Yes, there is grace, but that does not give a person the ability to freely sin. The Bible says, God forbid when it comes to sinning! In Romans 6:1-2 it says, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? After we have received Christ as our savior, we are set apart and are to live after the example of Jesus Christ! Then it continues in Romans 6:3-4 to say, Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? There we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.
